The tablet PC market is quite on a way to high these days as from the giants like Apple,Samsung and BlackBerry , even the new ones are coming to the market with their strong Android releases. The latest one to join the army is Viewsonic’s Viewpad which is being powered by the Android Honeycomb.The Viewpad is the company’s first big venture towards computing as they are quite into hardware with display units being their major manufacturing product.

Taking from the basics,Viewpad is armed with all the communication options like the bluetooth, wi-fi and 3G connectivity options.Quite a lightweight, the Viewpad is loaded with Google’s Android 3 and is quite ready to get customized with the applications available in the Android market including the google map service, youtube ,gmail and gtalk.It has a capactive touch screen which is high irresolution with 800X480 view.A total of two auto focus cameras have been embedded to the device with one each in front and rear.With an expandable memory to 32Gb,the new machine has a powerful Nvidia Tegra 2 processor which is quite enough to accelerate the hardware to the maximum.

Since Viewpad is already expert in the display market, they have added HDMI output to enhance viewing and live chats.With this launch at the Computex this year,Viewpad has defined a new level of innovation and has given quite a threat to the best seller Samsung Galaxy tab as Viewpad is quite leading in the feature categry.The price has not been disclosed yet but it is expected to be competitive enough to give a strong rivalry to the giants in the market.
